Steven New is a Graduate from the University of Southern California with a Masters in Music Education. Steven was also a business owner for 22 years in the Film and Video industry in California. During that time he became a computer program enthusiast where he wrote many business applications for his Film Business. After teaching Instrumental Music for 8 years the opportunity arose to go back to the world of Multimedia where he now teaches Video Production, Graphic Design and Game Programming at the East Career and Technical Academy in Las Vegas. Among other duties Steven serves on the Board of CUE-NV (Computer Using Educators of Nevada), has presented at numerous other conferences and teacher trainings including ACTE, and is a member of CUE, ISTE, ACTE, CUE-SN and NACTE.
