I am a Curriculum Support Teacher in the Cupertino Union School District. One aspect of my position is being a mentor to the new teachers of the District, through the BTSA Induction Program. Another big part of my position is to support teachers and provide professional development in the Common Core State Standards, for our 25 elementary and middle schools. I have a passion for technology and use it to extend my reach throughout the District. I am currently looking for ways to create networks and professional learning communities among groups of teachers. Another area of interest for me is creating on-line learning opportunities, in an effort to provide easy access to on-going professional development for the teachers within CUSD. I am excited about learning more on these topics at the CUE Conference.
